Mine Eyes/ My Tears

Mine Eyes

Flickering lights
First color and white with shifting colors
Then a quick flash of darkness
But then everything returns
Gliding on ice

My Tears

Minds are released
Salt pierces the wound
Fears become courage
The children gather like there is candy to be served to them
Yet only one at a time may receive the reward for journeying this far
Someone needs to count them as they leave
Each child exits
Running through the track to their destiny
Right before they disappear into the sun a man watches them
He reads children to find their behavior
There is always a reason why they were so quick to leave with their candy
Nonetheless he tallies each kid
Then in the forever night he will give every child back
Hugging every mark

Thank You

Raise a head
Look to the mirror
Bare naked
Oh the self worth is very dismal
It's never fair
Isn't ever
Small like a shell from a tiny snail
As useful as clothing for dead animals
Or pointless stacks of paper that would've saved a tree instead of an intention to save a soul
Don't forget the few words written or the feeling of the broken heart
In the end
the lungs still rise and fall
Maybe even bigger than before
In fact so much bigger that the heart painfully rests on the bones of the rib cage

The Land of Dance

Spinning & spinning
The room turns but you remain still
Your body pulled close to the man you love
He leads you as he sings of love
Your eyes cannot leave his gaze
Your ears listen to every word he says
I love you
The spinning world never stops
He turns and pulls you around but forever holds to you
There is a tug at you waist to come closer
His lips finally interlocking with yours forcing your eyes shut
Turning in circles
At no time dizzy
You only wish to stay in this spinning world
There is clearly nothing better than this

THAT'S RIGHT

Dirty wax candles drip into a jar full of rocks
Pearl rocks spattered with dark wax streaks
A child eats candy
colorful sugar balls stain his tongue
Pretty woman putting too much lipstick on just to leave a mark on his skin
Streaks Stains Marks
The black door is open with an invitation to enter
There's a lowly monster with grey streaked hair
A tongue stained purple
And bright red marks from the sun's kiss on its skin
To bad pretty views

Hollow Hearts & Weeds

A hedge maze in the darkness of night
This makes it harder to find one's way
Retracing steps
You feel you have returned to the stop you were at two hours ago
In resting a dandelion grows in the hedge that stands in your way
Defeat is dangerous
There is nothing in this maze
Hollow pathways crossed over a thousand times
Like the maze your heart becomes hollow
Empty space
Seeming so simple
Let the hedges take your body
Become one with the ground
Lay with the dandelion
You finally found the way out

Why

Blank eyes
Blank face
Blank mind
The heart yearns but no satisfaction
The body cries but no comfort
The soul ripped in pieces but no stitches
The aching wounds of the soul kill all other emotions
Now the heart and body are torn in half
but there's no glue
Stares close and the soul talks
All that is voiced in the silence is why
why why why

Living Words

Diary filled with words pictures and letters
So many pages keeping the life of men
Words are made of feelings and experiences
Those simple sentences provide breath to the dead
Bring the dead back to life
Let them break the earth and become zombies
Old dirty decayed human beings
Those words bring people back to the earth
Giving painful birth to new ideas
Their souls walk within the brains of those who read
Words trap the soul
Forever entangled with fragile paper
Souls do not have a human owner
They belong to the pictures letters and words
The worth of words

Question?

Have you ever seen the sunset?
Have you felt the kiss of a lover?
Have you smelled a daisy?

Do you act kind to others?
Do you welcome death when it comes?
Do you feel as others do?

Are you aware of humanity's selfishness?
Are you going to make wrongs right?
Are you feeling troubled?

Where is your heart?
Where is your life heading?
Where is your Saviour?

What do you think you're doing?
What are you searching for?
What will make matters worse?

Why does time still move forward?
Why is love conditional?
Why am I letting myself breathe?

The Heart

Everyone has a red room
Bright red walls, floors, windows, doors, and ceiling
They are riddled with blue tones tracing patterns around the room
There is nothing in the room
Completely bare
Occasionally people live in the room
They do as they please
Dancing
Standing
Sitting
Sleeping
Anything
But if there more than one person
They cannot interact with each other
In fact they cannot even see one another
It's lonely inside the red room
Once bored in your empty space they wish to leave
They can't handle it
No
It takes strength of mountains to find love within the red room
Ceasing to give everything they leave
Out through the windows, door, or ripping the wall apart
They'll leave
The room remains
Bare and empty as usual

No Name

A chair
          In a town
                        Abandoned from people
Yet a person
                   Fills the chair
                                      Sitting in the street
Blank is her face
                         Nothing passes her face
                                                             Sitting still and quiet
Images flash
                  People appear
A couple eating at the Bistro
An old man with more wrinkles than hair
Humble mothers waiting for the bus
                                                                                                               Busy men in the taxis
She opens her eyes
                             The scene is gone
                                                       Her mind contemplates their existence
No doubt they were once there
But they are no longer present
                                                                                              Maybe the people will return
The woman remains sitting in the lonely chair
Waiting for the past to be the future
                                                                                                                        May her wishes be filled

Sleeping On Blood Stained Sheets

When hope appears to be around the corner
Light cuts through the darkness
It shines on the unwanted truth
You see the bed as you sleep
Dreaming while swimming in your own blood
Your cuts pour out the emotions
One gash for every hurt
Life couldn't end sooner
Laying, bleeding, sleeping, dreaming
Hope only shows how tall the cage really is around your red stained sheets
Usually there is a hand to pull you out before you drown in your bodily fluids
but the hand has left
Abandon
The hand had better things to do
The hand closed the door when he left
Now you're choking on the blood yet your fate doesn't take you
Don't believe in others
They'll never know how it feels to lay in a warm red bath
They'll never hold parts of themselves
They wont feel it
The guts that flow from your body swim next to you
They leave your body as fast as your loved ones
Yet there is no one to hold a hand out as you wake from sleep
choking on your organs
No hand will save you now
The door just closes taking its bit of light with it
You cannot see what is around you anymore
Darkness, a faithful friend
It was there before the light
You accept the abrupt embrace of black as you gasp for air
Now even in the black leaves you as fate takes you on its horse
Death is your end
Even in death you sleep and dream in your ocean
Guts and Blood

Only I is my Pain

Look upon my face
Stillness, sadness, anger
Razors gleam from all angles
People see someone in need of help
Not one of them knows the depth
The deep is dark with graphite making it seem as endless as the ocean
Stitches can't mend the canyon that was split
As I let myself fall into the unknown I see that I won't leave this place
Free falling continuously through the narrowing passage
No one can catch me
I am safe in the air by myself
I lay in the air's embrace as it rushes over my burned skin
This is my endless content

This poem is meant to be read out loud.

His Nature

His brown hair shines giving contrast to the paleness of his crystal skin
He stands on water with arms spread open
His grave eyes stare down withe his eyelids nearly shut
You can't see those eyes but underneath their blue sweetness lies wisdom for he knows pain
As the sun rises behind his feet
white sheets rise up
As the sheets near his face he looks up slowly while turning the sheets into congregations of feathers
The transformed feathers shape into large wings spreading wide open
His gaze finally dives into what appears to be you
Those deep blue eyes draw a line towards your pupils
Connection happens from deep underneath the earth's crust
He lowers his head
the wings fade
Only his glowing hair is what remains
He is the Guardian Angel

Resurrect in my Cathedral

Devil's demon breath
Black stones deep within the earth
Glass stained grey
Chairs yet to be assembled
Dark corners
Warm fires
Sleeping on ash

Sun beams shoot through the entry
Soot floats stagnate
Water drips aimlessly
Dark walls sparkle
Ash is stirred
Angel's breath is coming
Waking from the dead

True Friends

Look about the room
Find what catches your eyes
You see a clean room with no apparent faults

Look closer

The curtain's tag is showing
Interesting
The boring room as a tag

Look closer

The tag has no words
It's very out of place in this empty space
This has to mean something

Look closer

The tag touches the outside of your eye
There is a tiny bug on it
It flies onto the bridge of your nose
Smack
Your face stings with the pain of your own slap
The bug flies to your finger
Stare at the little wings
Show the bug the room
Smiles
This is a true friend

First Star

Who wishes
Who dreams
Brighter than any plane
Yuck
Only unreachable goals
Where is the difference

I close my eyes
mouthing the words I think in my head
You hear the movement of my lips
billion of miles away where they shine

The patience of a child is small
talking to a insignificant star seems useless
Give me what I need
stop stop stop STOP

#1

Pain
No smiles without him
Gone
Will he come
Lonely
No one can replace
Depression
Time doesn't heal
Hurt
Deep inside
Scars
Never will be hidden
Love
Only is true
Ignore
Don't ever forget
Healing
Wounds need stitches
Others
Never the same
Future
Prove it

Potato

As a potato you get used to the cold
I was born in the dirt
a dark scary place
Surrounded by worms that nibble on my skin
That was my humble beginning
After months of pushing the dirt away from me
I was pulled out into the light
Broken from my mother
Washed in frozen waters
Then
as the rest of my brothers and sisters before me
I will be baked, fried, boiled
either way I am prepared
I will fill my nurture's daughter
She was born in a dirt house
She is used to the cold
I'm what will give her life to live
to grow out of the mud
and feed the greater purpose

Dear Beautiful Red Roses

Dear beautiful red roses,

You are given to women to make them feel loved
You smell and look pretty
but once you are put into the woman's hand you prick their finger
drawing out the very color of your petals from their skin

Blood
as it gets older it darkens in color
just like your petals so when there is no more water in your vase

Death
the very thing given to women to show love dies
Therefore illustrating that love does not last
As roses age they lose their scent and wilt
then they are thrown away om the overflowing trash

How do we save our love when it's bound to die?
We get another rose
another act of sharing blood with whom we love

Love will never last if no one gives
The dying roses that carry our blood take that one memory of love with them
They rest in peace in our body with the rest of our blood

So long my beautiful red roses

Oh the Clouds

There's a cloudly sky
Only sorrow and tears follow those clouds
They travel only to darken the earth
Everyone sees a time when the clouds cover the entire sky
Others have a time when they are swimming in its sticky embrace
If only clouds could die we could see the sun
For clouds are eternal
they just become different forms
The water we drank this morning was clouds
the air that fills our lungs as we breathe currently is made of clouds
The clouds run though our viens
The clouds give us life
then are clouds so bad
or are they necessary
For those weeping clouds give life to the man under the extreme heat
When the clouds cover our sky
Remember that without them
we would not live very long

Egg Plant

There is a line up to the office
You wait for your turn patiently with thirty others
There are cameras that slide around the room taking time to zoom in on everyone
No one talks
only fake smiles and nervous eyes
what are we all waiting for
You've been stuck in line for weeks now and finally it is your turn
but you can't remember now your useful anymore
The door opens
before you walk through you slap your leather cheeks in a attempt to wake yourself up
The inside of the office is crowded
filled up to the brim with people dressed in dull black and white uniform
You look down at yourself and see that you are wearing a purple dress
Clearly over dressed you look about the room
glaring in the robot eyes
you notice you're safe
these patterned people will be removed first
You'll live to see another day

Peanut Butter & Chocolate

It's a shame not everyone can enjoy life to its fullest
For there are things that bring salt into one's life
One of those elements is as simple as Splenda

Having an attachment to another by feelings of affection
can be used to to trigger the liveliness in one's mouth
But it can become quite amusing when intense hostilityis introduced
For the once known element is now lost
as easy as food is removed while you floss
Lets introduce harmony
For there are many for many
but some for one

Embers smolder in the ash
The golden sun leaves the purple sky
They come and only stay for awhile
but there is one thing that will never expire
Peanut butter and chocolate

Green Apple

Look at myself
I'm bright magnificent green
Though the color is only my skin
but yet so much apart of me
My skin makes me different
Others of my kind are all submerged in red
I am the only one of ,y kind
For this one petite fact is what makes me sour
Both red and green are white inside and contain the same seed
If we are so familiar then why am I green
Was I divinely made to be unripe and tart
Being sweet is far better for sure
because no one likes a sour apple

Bacon

Sweat dripping down
Tears filling the blankets hugging my skin
Such a beautiful sight

How cruel to think
The people that love
Just see a smiling face

Coming and going
No one understanding
Filling up but never fulfilling

Can they ever get enough?

Cranberry Sauce

I sat at the table staring at these megger provisions
wondering how long the minuscule pieces of optimism will last
My body
weakened by emptiness
now suffering from angish as the early sunset ends the day prematurely
I weep within the silence of darkness
The memories are no longer satisfying
