A chair
In a town
Abandoned from people
Yet a person
Fills the chair
Sitting in the street
Blank is her face
Nothing passes her face
Sitting still and quiet
Images flash
People appear
A couple eating at the Bistro
An old man with more wrinkles than hair
Humble mothers waiting for the bus
Busy men in the taxis
She opens her eyes
The scene is gone
Her mind contemplates their existence
No doubt they were once there
But they are no longer present
Maybe the people will return
The woman remains sitting in the lonely chair
Waiting for the past to be the future
May her wishes be filled
